Pay Scale : Pay Scale: Rs.30,000/- to 1,10,000/- and Grade Pay: Rs.12,700/-

Age Limit : Candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as on 01/01/2024.

Educational Qualification :

Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications.

• (i) A candidate must be an advocate enrolled under the Advocates Act, 1961 who has been practicing for at least 3 years. or

• (ii) A judicial officer of at least 3 (three) years’ standing. or

• (iii) A Chief Language Officer of the Legislative Department who holds a degree in Law and has 3 (three) years of experience as such officer or 2 (two) years of experience as such officer if he has at least 3 years of previous experience as an advocate. (Three years. Or

• (iv) A language officer in the Legislative Department who holds a degree in law and has 5 (five) years of experience and 2 (two) years of experience as such officer if he has had prior experience as an advocate for at least 4 (assumed) four years.

Other Criteria for APSC Recruitment

Candidates must be citizens of India as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

• (i) Candidate must be permanent resident of Assam.
• (ii) Candidate should produce PRC issued in Assam for Educational Purposes/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residence along with the application form.
