Assam JMEE 2024 –
Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has released the official notification for Assam Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 21st June 2024 to 5th July 2024.
Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) is an entrance examination conducted by Assam Science and Technology University for admission to the 1st semester class of MCA program in colleges in Assam state including Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat and Girijanand. And this uneven JMEE exam will be held in offline mode as a pen-paper based exam in various cities across the state. Institute of Management and Technology, Guwahati for the session 2024-2025. This year the exam will be held on 21st July, 2024.
The JMEE question paper will have a total of 100 multiple choice type questions, out of which 30 will be from Mathematics and Reasoning and 20 from English and Computer. Assam JMEE Exam Eligibility Criteria
Students must fulfill the below mentioned eligibility conditions before applying for the Assam JMEE 2024 exam.
Age should be between 20 to 26 years as on 1st July 2024.
- Recognized graduation degree of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or graduation level. Candidate must have passed Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or graduation level.
- Minimum 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) in qualifying degree examination.
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen
- Candidates must be domiciled in Assam
- They should secure a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates).
- Also, candidates should be permanent residents of Assam
- Candidates appearing in their final year examination are also eligible to appear in Assam 2024 JMEE examination. The condition is only one, they have to bring original mark sheet and certificate at the time of admission

ASSAM JMEE Exam Application Fee
An application fee of Rs. 1700/- (One Thousand Seven Hundred only) to be paid online using SBI Collection which facilitates payment through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
Candidates have to successfully pay the online fee by the last date of submission of online application. Otherwise his candidature will not be considered for examination. No communication will be made regarding failure to make payment received after the last date of online application submission.
How to Apply for Assam JMEE Exam?
JMEE candidates have to submit online application. Candidates can follow below mentioned steps to apply for this admission process.

- Click on “Online Application Link” and complete the registration process by clicking on “New Registration”.
- In the next stage, click on “Online Application Link” and login.
- Fill all your personal and educational details and upload required documents.
- Pay the application fee as per your category and submit the form.
- Finally, take a print out of the application form.
The submitted form is not required to be sent to ASTU but it is suggested that candidates keep their form safely till the admission process is completed.
