NBEMS will soon announce NEET PG exam new date, check expected date and other details

The new date of NEET PG exam will be announced by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) soon. Candidates who have registered themselves for the said examination can download the time table from the official website, natboard.edu.in once released.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will soon announce the examination dates for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate Courses (NEET PG). According to a report published by Indian Express, the new dates for NEET PG 2024 will be released this week. However, the officials have not yet confirmed the exact date of publication of the schedule. The test schedule will be announced in consultation with the government, TCS and logistics partners.

Earlier, the NEET PG 2024 exam was scheduled to be held on June 23, which was postponed by the health ministry as a ‘precautionary measure’ the day before the exam.

Last week, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had said that the new dates for the medical examination would be shared on Monday or Tuesday. Once released, candidates will be able to check the NEET PG 2024 exam dates on the official website, natboard.edu.in.

What is NEET PG?
The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (Post Graduation), or NEET PG, is an entrance test in India conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to determine the eligibility of candidates for admission to postgraduate medical programs in government or private institutions. Colleges like Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), PG Diploma, Diploma of National Board (DNB), Doctorate of National Board (DRNB), and NBEMS Diploma. Candidates with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate issued by Indian or State Medical Council and completed one year internship as per Indian Medical Council Act are eligible to apply for internship, exam.
