Srimanta Shankardeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has released official admission notification for admission to GNM course under Directorate of Health Services. of Assam in both Govt. and Private GNM Training Institute for 2024 – 2025 session. For this purpose, an entrance test – GNM Entrance Examination (GNMEE), 2024 will be conducted. Assam GNM Admission Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 17 years to 35 years as on 31st December 2024.

Age Relaxation : There is no age bar for ANM/LHV.

: Candidates must have the following educational qualification to get admission in GNM course.

Passed in 10+2 with Science (PCB) and English with 40% marks in aggregate.

10+2 Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Domestic Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health Care Science — Vocational Stream only, Pass AISSCE/ From recognized board under CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent board with 40% marks.

10+2 Vocational ANM under CBSE board or other equivalent board from school recognized by Nursing Council of India with 40% marks.

ANM Registration : Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.

Physical Fitness : Students must be medically fit.
